My response to Qaaman’s Land: “What If Dragon Ball Characters Ran For President?”

Dragon Ball Presidents?!

On February 20, 2017, Qaaman’s Land uploaded a video called: ” What if Dragon Ball Characters Ran for President?”. So for this week’s Dragon Ball Blog, I will be discussing my response and thoughts to his video.

The key points of Qaaman’s Land’s video is that he argued that Bulma is the best choice for president due to her successful international business achievements with the Capsule Co. and her assertive, forceful, and cunning personality. He discussed how most of the Z fighters would fare as president, ranging from Gohan to even Tien Shinhan.

I will let you guys know right from the start that I agree with almost everything he explained in the video. So rather than critiquing his argument or paraphrasing what he said , my response is to add to the question:”Which Dragon Ball Character would be the best choice for President”. So I had some fun this subject.

As I said above, my goal is to add the the question, not to critique his arguments.  Therefore, I also ask  after reading this blog, please watch his ten minute video on the subject to see his key points about Bulma and the rest of the Z fighters. Who is Qaaman’s Land?

Qaaman’s Land is a fellow Dragon Ball Nerd and Youtuber. To be honest, Qaaman is one of the DB community’s biggest nerd and advocate for the Dragon Ball. This man has read the original manga by Akira Toriyama, watched all of the Dragon Ball series in both English Dub and the Original Japanese Dub. What separates Qaaman’s Land from other great Dragon Ball youtubers such as Geekdom101 , MasakoX, and Rhymestyle  is that he focuses the majority of his platform around Dragon Ball WHAT IF scenarios and Theories. His content is very well thought out, always backed by evidence to the original official release, and thought-provoking. * At the end of the Blog I will link some of my personal favorite videos from Qaaman’s Land and some from the other youtubers.

First Up. And his name is…

Son-Goku. The main protagonist of the entire Dragon Ball series. The low class warrior that has risked his life for the sake of the Earth and his Friends multiples times. He has come back death twice. He was the first Super Saiya-jin in a thousand years, and now has learned to harness the ki of a God.

“I am the hope of the Universe. I am the answer to all living things who cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am-” ( Goku, Dragon Ball Z) HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA x 10 .

Haha, Goku is literally the worst candidate for President. Goku is a selfish, stubborn, country bumpkin who only cares about food and fighting strong opponents.

For example, during the Cell Games, he allowed Cell to consume a Senzo, Sage Bean, to restore Cell’s health and power so that Cell could have a fair fight against he own son, Son-Gohan, who was  11 years old at the time. He cared more about an actual fair fight rather than his own son’s safety and the Earth’s.

To ALL of the DBZ Funimation Dub purists, I am not sorry to tell you that Goku in the Original Japanese version in both the Manga and Anime is nothing like the Superman-ish hero portrayed in the Funimation Dub or even the Ocean Dub for that matter. For example, that Quote I used above, never happened in the original manga or Japanese anime.

P.S. Goku is a true genius when it comes to marital arts, Ki engery, and farming. Everything else, such as politics, leadership, diplomacy, the welfare of others, husband, and Father, he is hopeless. #LoveforGoku #GOKUmainforbudokia3

P.S. I hate to say it, but good ol’ Donny is a better candidate than Goku.

You know who would be better than Son-Goku?

Chi-Chi would make a much better President than Goku.

“Whoa, But Chi-Chi is a buzz kill!” “It’s Her fault Gohan is not bad ass anymore.” I understand your disagreement.Now allow me to explain.

Chi-Chi 20 times more stubborn than Goku. She will not let anyone intimidate her.

Chi-Chi is constantly concerned with the well-being of her family. Just look at Gohan in Dragon Ball Super. Thanks to her forcing, loving  hand of making sure that Gohan becomes a Scholar, her son became a wonderful, admirable, caring adult. Gohan has a wife and daughter who he actually loves and cares about . He will always put his family and friends first. Gohan is everything he’s Father is not and then some, and it is all thanks to Chi-Chi. #chichibestmom #gohanstillbadass #panchanistoocute

Also for those of you who have not seen or read the Original Manga, Chi-Chi is the OX King’s Daughter. She was raised in an environment where she learned how to interact with people and some basic diplomacy and delegation from her father. She has an good understanding and use of tact that Goku still has not learned in the 40 + years of his life on earth.

Besides being a total bad-ass, She’s also remarkably clever, ( Not Bulma level-Genius but you get the point.) All that she has to do is turn that  fierce motherly energy into a Presidential campaign.

P.S. She will so support Plan Parenthood and Women’s Equality in the World.

P.S She could literally beat the shit out of Donald J Trump and no one would dare try to stop her.

The Perfect Candidate

Cell is the perfect. Cell is the illustrious and immaculate cocktail of the universe’s most powerful fighters of his time. Goku, Vegeta, Tien, Krillin, Freeza, and Piccolo- he has all of their best abilities. He has the brilliance of his creator Dr. Gero, the ruthlessness of Lord Freeza, the will” to be the very best like no one ever was” ( Original Pokemon Theme Singer: Jason Paige)  like Goku and Vegeta , ripped AF like Tien, and the cool intellect of Piccolo. ( Yes he has double smarts). #Perfect

Just image it. His perfect power. His perfect grace. His perfect bod. His Perfect smarts. Cell will bring civilization to its up-most potential, and destroy those who dare defy him or just do not make the cut of his world view.

You call me crazy, but you forget who we elected for office. Supreme Overlord, Donald J Trump. I mean, why vote for the lesser evil.

P.S. There will be no Trump Administration, or a division of political parties for that matter.

P.S.There will be WORLD Peace.

P.S Still better than Son-Goku.

P.S Why not Freeza for president? Fuck Freezer.

P.S. Why not Cthulhu? As I said why vote for the lesser evil?

Who would I actually vote for?

The answer is obvious, maggots. I will not forget the true savior and champion of the Earth, nay the entire Universe.

Hail SATAN! Mr. Hercule ( Mark) Satan. The man who defeated Cell. The man who saved us from Majin-Buu. The man who became a God and kick Beerus’s ass. You cannot deny this. Hercule ( Mark) Satan is our Lord and Savior. He will win, win, win. #Hail Satan!

P.S. To those who have no idea what I am talking about, Satan is basically fusion of Hulk Holgan and JOHN CENAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!- of the Dragon Ball Universe, Holgan in terms of looks and mannerisms, Cena in terms of greatness.
